set back

I really hate my bad habits, and the fact that when i go to my dad's house to house sit. I lose all habits of self-control.

I ordered take-out sushi which i haven't had in forever, and have way too many rolls. I eat myself into a frenzy, and no i feel nauseus and sick to my stomach. UGGGH. Now i've undone all of the hardwork that i did this week.

Oh way, no use in beating myself up now. It's not going to do any good. I just needed to rant.

So thank you for listening :)

I just need to turn over a new leaf, and get back to better health and better foods as soon as i am not sick to my stomach anymore.

Let's not let bad days, turn into bad weeks and months.

What do YOU do to rebound back when you have a bad day/days? How do you turn around your bad times to keep them from worsening?

I forgive myself, I remember why I want to make good choices and move on.

I second what katdoesdiets said, forgive, forget and move on its all you can do. Like you said don't let one bad day turn into a bad week or month.

sometimes I get in a bit of extra exercise. I had a great workout today at the gym and then was fixing what I thought was a healthy meal for dinner. When I added up all the point it was shocking! I have gone over my point for the day. So, what am I going to do? I'm gonna get in a sunset walk to try to help digest some of it.

Thank you very much for your encouragement :)

I have figured out that on the days i don't exercise, especially on the weekend. I kind of go into a bad way, that's the best way to say it. So i've really got to get myself up and work on exercising on Saturdays. I mean i start my training 5 days a week for walking the half-marathon in 3 weeks, oh em gee!!!

LOL, Brittany, sushi makes me feel nauseated even before I eat it!

Getting up after falling down takes less energy than stewing in guilt and recrimination, so here's to just getting up and forging ahead. You can do it!

I have the same thing when I go "home" to my mom's house. The first thing i do is open the refrigerator.
And when I have a set back (of which I've had many lately), the ONLY way I can get back on track is to exercise. That's where it all starts for me.
Good luck to you!
